President of CNITA, also serves as Director of Nonwovens and Industrial Textiles Committee of China Textile Engineering Society (CTES), Deputy Director of Nonwoven Materials and Engineering Sub-com mittee of Education and Instruction Committee, Deputy Director of National Technical Committee on Technical Textiles (SAC/TC 606), and Director of Standardization Technical Committee of CNITA. She has long been engaged in industrial research, technological innovation and standardization in the field of nonwovens and industrial textiles, and is committed to enhancing the core competitiveness and promoting the sustainable development of the industry.

Currently, industrial textiles are the main direction of global textile science and technology innovation, and an area where developed countries are competing to develop and maintain strategic competitive advantages. In 2001, the beginning of CNITA, the fiber usage of industrial textiles in China accounted for only 14.4% of the total textiles industry. Nowadays, it has accounted for more than one-third of the total, an increase of more than 10 times. The more than 20 years since the founding of CNITA, was a magnificent period of development for China's industrial textile industry, as well as a turbulent period of progress for CNITA.

As the world's largest producer, consumer and exporter of industrial textiles, we actively promote the wide application of high-tech textiles in many fields. Industrial textiles have played an important role in the prevention and control of the COVID-19, dealing with natural disasters, environmental pollution control, the construction of key projects and infrastructure, etc. The whole industry continues to enhance the industry chain supply chain collaborative innovation and international competitive advantages, and plays an important role in promoting people's health, improving the air and water environment, ensuring occupational safety, improving infrastructure quality, etc.

At present, China is moving towards the second hundred-year goal. Promoting common prosperity through high-quality development is the trend of the times. As a new support point and growth pole for the textile industry, the application of industrial textiles is expanding and the future will be brighter.
